For those seeking to teach yoga or simply deepen their practice through study, our RYT-278 Yoga Teacher Training meets and exceeds the requirements and guidelines set by Yoga Alliance for the RYS200 Level. RYT-278 Alignment Hatha/Vinyasa Teacher Training with studies include alignment yoga, informed assists, thai yoga, restorative yoga and yin yoga. Our lineage is so important when it comes to teaching yoga... so you know where the teaching originates. Our vinyasa classes, sequencing and practical anatomy teachings are highly influenced by Jason Crandell. Our therapuetic origins are rooted in the BKS Iyengar family lineage. Kerry Tice (our primary teacher) was trained by Mylinda Morales, which traces back through Ramanad lineage in Pune, India. Our Yin Yoga can be traced back to origins with Joe Barnett (who is a senior teacher for Paul Grilley, the Founder of Yin Yoga).

Deeply inspired by the philosophical and ethical roots of yoga and its healing potential, this professional level Sarasota based yoga teacher training program will contextualize the practice of yoga against its most famous texts, its anatomical and physiological realities, and its many styles. Students will learn to draw logical connections between anatomy, alignment, and the movement of real human bodies full of skeletal variations.

Students will learn the necessary types of touch to safely adjust and therapeutically align, and the qualities of voice and presence needed to lead a calm, safe, flowing class.
