Overview

For students who want to complete their advance studies in yoga and become a RYT-500, CircuSoul Yoga offers a professional level RYT-300 program. Students who complete contact hours and all additional assignments will receive a RYS-300 certificate and will be eligible to register themselves at RYT-500.

Our advanced studies program (RYS-300) is unique to the Sarasota Yoga Community and will prepare students to teach at a deeper level in both their public and private sessions. Deeply rooted in alignment based vinyasa flow, this program goes above and beyond the requirements of yoga alliance, with over 300 contact hours! Deeply inspired by the philosophical and ethical roots of yoga and its healing potential, this professional level teacher training program goes much further than most certifications. Students who complete this program will be prepared to create and run their own workshops, work independently to create online content and they will have the training that it takes to raise the vibration of their public classes. Modeled after our successful RYT-200 and aerial yoga teacher training program, students who enroll in the CircuSoul Yoga RYS-300 teacher training program will receive 1 on 1 mentorship during their training. Students can expect their verbal skills to be fine tuned, both their personal practice and teaching skills to be challenged. After completing the RYS-300 teacher training, teachers will be instructed to provide lessons that far exceed the expectations of their students. Yoga is growing at an amazing rate, join us today to help you to compete in today's yoga market! Sarasota's best Yoga Teacher Training facility provides specialists in their field to help contextualize the practice of yoga against its most famous texts, its anatomical and physiological realities, and its many styles. Students will learn to draw logical connections between anatomy, alignment, and the movement of real human bodies full of skeletal variations.

Students are required to complete 3 yoga immersions with our director of training and attend additional contact hours with our hand-picked trainers. We will explore yoga philosophy through the words of Patanjale and the pages of the Bhagavad Gita, as well as through the practice of mantra, japa, and meditation.

Yin Yoga II w/ Dr. Britt Dienes, AP

October 12, 2018

In Yin Yoga II, we’ll discuss the basic anatomy of bone, muscle and fascia so that we can discuss the biomechanics and actions of each tissue in the yoga practice.

We will review the variations present in the human skeleton in the spine, femur and tibia, so that we can examine the movement of both bones and joint surfaces (osteokinematics and arthrokinematics) in yoga asana, thus providing a foundation for us to talk the alignment, propping, substitution and contraindications of twists, folds, backbends, and side bends.

Through the lens of Raja Yoga and the traditions of meditation we will help you shape the opening and closing of your yoga class, creating confident teachers of breath-focused meditation and savasana. "💕There is one who has inspired, guided - literally & metaphorically elevated yoga in SRQ. This yogi brought aerial yoga to our town with his unique hammock design & selflessly gifted the magic of this practice with the entire community. His level of skill & direction is unparalleled. The teacher training he provides is BRILLIANT, professional, calculated, & creates mindful, experienced teachers who continually recreate themselves through his skillful direction."

Erin C.

The teacher training at Circusoul was truly a life changing experience. We not only learned Asana, but Yoga. Kerry Tice brought in a diverse group of highly qualified teachers to give us knowledge of Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, Science, Yoga Therapeutics, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Nadda, and Aerial Circus Arts. This training went above and beyond my expectations. I learned how to teach, how others learn, and what I can bring to yoga. The teachers created a warm, welcoming, safe space where I felt comfortable enough not just to learn, but also to grow personally. Circusoul yoga offers a fun community filled with acceptance and support. I highly recommend this training and other trainings offered at Circusoul yoga.
