CIRCUSOUL YOGA STORY
Embark on an inspiring journey with CircuSoul Yoga, born from the dream and passion of founder Kerry Tice. What started as a vision for a circus production company soon transformed into a profound love for yoga, shaping the destiny of the company. Originating in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where flying trapeze lessons were offered to the public, Kerry faced initial challenges and pivotal learnings. As the journey continued, CircuSoul Productions took form in Sarasota, Florida, captivating audiences at prestigious events like Ultra Music Festival in Miami and working with international company's like Oceana for private events.
Yet, Kerry's passion for yoga was unwavering, and in 2012, in his backyard of his rental in Gillispie Park, a suburb of Sarasota, he created a hammock with handles with using only one piece of fabric. It is from there that he merged his passion for the circus arts with the healing arts of yoga and started hosting small aerial yoga classes utilizing his very own oak tree to support the hammocks' was a unique yoga experience in nature's embrace. As the demand grew, CircuSoul established its first aerial yoga space near the Sarasota airport in 2013, marking the beginning of a remarkable venture.
In 2014, CircuSoul found its current home, encompassing two dedicated suites for all things yoga and circus. Today, CircuSoul Yoga stands as a Yoga Alliance Registered School, offering teacher training programs in Vinyasa Yoga and Aerial Yoga, including one of the world's few Yoga Alliance approved Aerial Teacher Training programs. Continually evolving and expanding, CircuSoul has become a favorite among Sarasota's yoga enthusiasts, renowned for its comprehensive aerial yoga training and diverse class offerings. Awards and collaborations further validate the dedication and passion that drive CircuSoul, turning dreams into reality. From humble beginnings to international recognition, CircuSoul Yoga embodies the belief that with dedication and a dream, anything is possible.

South of the bay area, Kerry Tice, owner of Circusoul Yoga, fell in love with the circus arts and flying trapeze while growing up in Sarasota. Instead of pursuing a medical career as planned, he felt called to return to the trapeze and discovered aerial yoga when he sustained an injury.

Circusoul Yoga, owned and operated by trapeze artist Kerry Tice, is structured just like a regular yoga class, but with one big exception: Students are suspended in the air in bright-colored fabric hammocks, designed by Tice himself. Don’t feel like leaving the ground? Circusoul offers other yoga classes for all levels—but there’s something liberating about taking to the air.
